We finally got to catch up with my brother - we haven't actually seen him since we met up in Cowra in August for Uncle Les' funeral. He was unable to make it down for Mum's birthday and Christmas. He has recently moved to Sydney so hopefully he will be able to make it down more often to see Mum.
We had lunch together at The Grange. Mum has not been doing very well lately and the day before Mark arrived I really wasn't sure if she could cope but thanks to those wonderful staff at Palliative Care and their magic medication we made it through - she had a rough couple of pain filleddays afterwards to recover but was very glad to be able to laugh and smile with the family. We have had our other daughter with us a lot these holidays and it is lovely to see how well she fits in with us all. The other thing we have seen a lot of lately is salads. The kids love helping making the salad and they always come out with an interesting design and cut in different shapes and sizes each time. We have shared lots of laughs, lots of fun and (unfortunately due to the girls watching Prank shows on TV) lots of practical jokes. No, Tegan has not actually hurt her arm but she went home from here one day with ehr arm bandaged and some extreme story about the girls having a wrestling incident on the top bunk...... luckily her parents realised 1) I wouldn't allow that and 2) she was laughing too much to be in pain!
